Prometeus Project

This project aims to increase the number of young people from the Raval, Besòs-Maresme, La Verneda i la Pau and the Zona Nord who complete university studies. The initiative, awarded the 2018 Barcelona Educational Innovation Award, came from the Associació Educativa Integral del Raval and El Periódico El Raval, together with the two public institutes of the neighbourhood.

The UB, UAB, UPF and UPC universities participate in the Prometeus driving group. At the UB, the Solidarity Foundation, together with the Social Policy and University Access (PSAU) programme of the Faculty of Education, manages the coordination of the project entities with the Tutorial Action Plan of each faculty, the Student Care and the Academic Management Service.
