To this end, the Foundation launches, supports and implements a wide range of projects broadening the scope of aid and strengthening aid initiatives in developing countries and in conflict zones, especially in the area of interuniversity relations.

It promotes the defence of human rights in different international arenas by carrying out joint actions at local levels with individuals or institutions, by creating agencies and offices to disseminate these actions — such as the Observatory on Solidarity — and by helping to further education in global citizenship.

Finally, it leads initiatives to foster the UB’s community’s involvement in community volunteering, hereby reinforcing UB members’ values education, their solidarity with others and their commitment to others at a global level.
